Fondazione Regionale per la Ricerca Biomedica has recently renewed its ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, valid for the next three years. Since 2017, the Foundation’s management system has been recognized as compliant with an excellence standard that emphasizes the organization’s ability to analyze its context and the expectations of stakeholders in order to properly manage risks and opportunities and to pursue continuous improvement.
This recognition confirms the high-quality service offered by FRRB in publishing competitive calls and managing research projects implemented by regional healthcare system entities.
The scope of the certification has been confirmed to cover the Foundation’s main activities:
“Promotion of competitive calls for the selection of innovative biomedical research projects; management of the processes of evaluation, monitoring, and control of projects. Planning, development, submission, management, and coordination of strategically relevant European projects in the Life Sciences sector.”
The ISO 9001:2015 certification was issued by RINA Services S.p.A., a partner of the international IQNet network, which guarantees internationally recognized standards.
