TRANSCAN and TRANSCAN-2 research funding landscape demonstrates a strong support of the EU transnational collaboration aims. In the 7-year period, both networks have contributed significantly to support excellent science in the field of translational cancer research. Through 7 Calls for proposals, 85.2 million € were invested to fund 79 small- to mid-sized research consortia including 406 research groups.
