NEW CALL - FRRB SEAL OF EXCELLENCE
FRRB is pleased to announce the launch of a new edition of the Call "FRRB Seal of Excellence", aimed at funding research projects presented in response to the European programme Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships, specifically European Fellowships (IF-EF) which have been awarded the Seal of Excellence in the call MSCA-IF-2020.
The Seal of Excellence is a quality label awarded to project proposals submitted to Horizon 2020, the EU research and innovation funding programme, which were judged positively to deserve funding but did not get it due to budget limits. These projects have been awarded a Seal of Excellence, that recognises the value of the proposals and helps other funding bodies take advantage of the Horizon 2020 evaluation process.
The first edition of the call saw n.4 successful funded projects, which obtained a "Seal of Excellence" in response to the Call MSCA IF-2019, for a total funding of € 685,893.12.
The residual amount, equal to € 814,106.88, will constitute the financial endowment of the second edition of the Call, which will fund projects that have received the "Seal of Excellence" in response to the Call MSCA IF-EF (European) Edition 2020.
Similarly to the first edition, the Call will fund biomedical research projects carried out by fellows who wish to implement their project in the “Life Sciences” area in a Host Institution based in Lombardy.
The Call is part of FRRB strategy of valorisation of human capital through initiatives that support researchers who wish to develop their research program in Lombardy Region.In addition, the initiative aims at encouraging the arrival of international researchers in Lombardy, including Italian researchers who developed a research experience abroad.
The Beneficiaries of the contribution, which will be designated as host institutions of the candidate, may be one of these institutions:
- Public Hospitals and Assistance Centres (ASST);
- Territorial healthcare Authorities (ATS);
- Regional Emergency Centres (AREU);
- Public and private Scientific Institutes for Health Research, Hospitalization and Health Care (I.R.C.C.S);
- Public and private Universities;
- Research Institutes.
The projects can have a maximum duration of 24 months. The projects presented in the CAR panel can be extended up to 36 months.
The call will open at 10:00 am on September 13th, 2021 and will be closed on October 29th, 2021 at 05:00 pm.
