In view of 2024, the Regional Foundation for Biomedical Research already proves to be a reality set in the present and, at the same time, with an eye on the future.
A few days ago we announced the forthcoming publication of a joint transnational call within the framework of the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine-EP PerMed. Also this time FRRB confirms its commitment to funding projects on personalized medicine, adhering as a funding agency to the first European call published to promote the projects selected under the EP Permed JTC 2024 call.
The call aims to fund interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral and transnational research projects that foster the identification or validation of new and advanced targets for companion biomarkers that allow the monitoring of treatment outcomes and patient stratification. "The bodies of the Regional Health Service, universities and research centers based in Lombardy, will have the opportunity to present a project proposal together with other European partners and obtain funding for their activities from our Foundation," says Carmen De Francesco, Head of Calls and Projects Management.
The total budget of the European initiative amounts to approximately € 40,000,000.
FRRB participates in the first call of EP Permed JTC 2024, committing resources for a total amount of € 1,500,000.00.
