Regional Foundation for Biomedical Research (FRRB), Partner of the European project TARGET, Taking a Reflexive approach to Gender Equality for institutional Transformation, is pleased to invite you to a new seminar on the topic of gender equality in research.
The seminar "Athena Swan Charter and gender equality in research" will be held online on Tuesday 23 February at 10:00 (CET), via Zoom.
In the first part of the meeting, thanks to a panel of international experts, we will present and discuss the Athena Swan Charter, a framework which is used across the globe to support and transform gender equality within higher education (HE) and research. We will talk about the importance of the Athena Swan Charter from the point of view of a funding agency and a university.
In the second part of the meeting, we will focus on a research project that takes into account aspects of sex and gender, and we will discuss the impacts this projects has created in the organization of the research itself.
